23rd Fighter Group A-10Cs caught at Lajes on their way back home from Afghanistan

On Friday, five A-10Cs of the returning 74th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron arrived at Lajes Field, Azores, for stopover enroute Continental United States (CONUS). They touched down at 1557pm (local time) and were supported by a KC-10 Stratotanker:

A-10C 80-0208, 75th Fighter Squadron
A-10C 80-0228, 74th Fighter Squadron
