Fuel distribution shop keeps aircraft fueled for flight, fight

Matthew Jackson, left, 52nd Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels distribution supervisor, and Airman 1st Class Anthony Wells-Johnson, 52nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron avionics maintenance technician, connect a jet fuel hose to an A-10 Thunderbolt II during a hot pit refueling on Ramp 3 here Aug. 6. A hot pit is the refueling of a jet while the aircraft is still running so pilots can take off right away.
